The nature of mixed martial arts is that you cannot predict with certainty what will happen, or what fights will end up being the best. UFC 200 was one of the greatest cards in the history of the sport, yet both $50,000 performance bonuses went to the winner of two of the three fights on the UFC Fight Pass prelims – Joe Lauzon and Gegard Mousasi.
UFC Fight Night 92 was the polar opposite – the incredible main event was the Fight of the Night. Yair Rodríguez and Alex Caceres went after other like they were in a EA Sports UFC 2, with some bad software that failed to take gravity into account. Or the space time continuum.
