UFC Fight Night 81 ‘of the night’ bonus winners…

At the post-fight press conference for UFC Fight Night 81 in Boston, UFC President Dana White announced the winners of the nights performance bonuses:

Fight of the Night: Dominick Cruz vs. TJ Dillashaw

Performance of the Night: Ed Herman

Performance of the Night: Luke Sanders

Each athlete will be awarded $50,000 for the performance bonuses subject to the results of fight night drug testing.

Cruz and Dillashaw battled hard five rounds in and back and forth fight that ended with a split decision win for Cruz.

Ed Herman earned his bonus by going toe-to-toe with Tim Boetsch for a full round before landing a fight ending knee in the second.

For Luke Sanders, he was making his Octagon debut and impressed the fans by submitting Maximo Blanco by rear naked choke only moments after escaping from a submission attempt.
