UFC Fight Night 217 took place at the UFC Apex. The card streamed in its entirety on ESPN+.
In the main event, middleweight contenders Sean Strickland (26-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC) and Nassourdine Imavov (12-4 MMA, 4-2 UFC), met in a light heavyweight contest in a bout that was arranged on short notice.
