LAS VEGAS – MMA Underground was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s “UFC Fight Night 210: Cory Sandhagen vs. Song Yadong” official weigh-ins, where one fight was scratched after a failed trip to the scales.
The early weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex. The same venue hosts the following night’s event, which streams in its entirety on ESPN+.
In the night’s featured matchup, No. 4-ranked bantamweight Cory Sandhagen (14-4 MMA, 7-3 UFC) takes on the No. 10-ranked Song Yadong (19-6-1 MMA, 8-1-1 UFC) in an intriguing matchup at 135 pounds.
A matchup between ranked women’s bantamweights was scratched after Aspen Ladd (9-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) weighed 138 pounds for her matchup with Sara McMann (13-6 MMA, 7-6 UFC). UFC officials announced the change but declined to offer details, simply stating that the bout “has been canceled from the card.”
