“UFC Fight Night 19: Diaz vs. Guillard” draws 7,500 spectators for $650K gate
The UFC’s first visit to Oklahoma in nearly 15 years drew an announced crowd of 7,500 spectators to Cox Convention Center for a reported $650,000 live gate.
While the number of attendees is down significantly from the UFC Fight Night-record 10,267 fans that attended UFC Fight Night 18 in April in Tennessee, the live gate was actually an increase of nearly $24,000 over the most recent “Fight Night” event.
In fact, the only UFC Fight Night event to generate a larger gate was “UFC Fight Night 15: Diaz vs. Neer” in September 2008 in Omaha, Neb., making Diaz a headliner in the organization’s top-two grossing UFC Fight Night events.
