In addition to being paid a fixed amount to show and another, usually equal amount to win, each UFC event also awards four $50,000 Performance Bonuses.
Usually, there is a Fight of the Night in which both fighters are given a performance bonus, and a performance bonus to the winner in two fights. “Performance Bonus” means the fight made you say “HOLY F@#$ING $#!@.”
One of the primary differences between the UFC model and the boxing model is the depth of the card. Sometimes the best fights are all the way down on the UFC Fight Pass prelims. This time the Fight Pass prelims were bonus free but the prelims got one, and the main card got two, including the main event.
Fight of the Night: $50,000 bonuses
Cub Swanson defeated Artem Lobov by Unanimous Decision (49-46, 49-46, 50-45)
Performance of the Night: $50,000 bonus
Mike Perry defeated Jake Ellenberger by Knockout (Elbow, Round 2, 1:05)
Performance of the Night: $50,000 bonus
Brandon Moreno defeated Dustin Ortiz by Technical Submission (RNC, Round 2, 4:06)
A returning Al Iaquinta put on a spectacular performance, but is ineligible for a performance for three events, after he failed to attend a Fighter’s Summit citing illness, but appeared at the beach on his social network.

Hopefully the second tweet is not a reference to his room. It happened in the past, and the UFC was not impressed.

“> In addition, to the bonuses and purses, there is:
•Reebok pay, based on tenure, for wearing the distinctive apparel during fight week and in the Octagon;
•Sometimes fighters get discretionary locker room bonuses of varying amounts; despite their name, locker room bonuses actually come in the mail now;
•In some cases there is an LOA [Letter of Agreement] on the contract for additional income; and,
•The most elite fighters get points on the pay per view.
The next UFC event is UFC 211: Miocic vs. dos Santos 2 on May 13, 2017 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
