UFC Fight Night 103/Phoenix official weigh-ins take place on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. ET, at the UFC host hotel in Phoenix, Arizona. The ceremonial weigh-ins and faceoff take place later on Saturday, at 7:00 p.m. ET. at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, which will play host to the fights on Sunday.

UFC Hall of Famer BJ Penn fights rising star Yair Rodriguez in the main event.

Fighters used to weigh-in in the early evening. Unfortunately, the body does not always rehydrate within 24 hours, leaving the brain more susceptible to injury. Many fighters took IVs in an attempt to rehydrate sufficiently. However, when the UFC selected the US Anti-Doping Agency as their independent drug testing body, the use of IVs was prohibited, as it can mask the presence of PEDs. In response, the UFC has instituted a new, safer procedure, wherein fighters are given a two-hour window in which to weigh in, on the morning of the day before the fight.
