UFC president Dana White is spending $240,000 per year to encouraging UFC and Strikeforce fighters to Tweet your asses off.

Zuffa fighters will be separated into FOUR divisions, based upon how many followers they currently have on Twitter. Within each of the four divisions, there are three categories:

1) Who has gained the most followers since the start of the quarter?

2) Which fighter garnered the highest percentage of new followers?

3) Who posted the most creative tweets?

Each quarter, the winners of the three categories in each of the four divisions received a $5,000 bonus.

The UFC has just announced their Twitter bonus winners for for the very first time.

Brazilians won eight of the 12 available commission checks. Of those eight winners, six of them were won by just three fighters, Anderson Siva, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, and Demian Maia who each get $10,000, for tweeting.
