LAS VEGAS – MixedMartialArts.com was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official “UFC 290: Volkanovski vs. Rodriguez” fighter weigh-ins, where all but one fighter made weight without issue.

The UFC 290 weigh-ins took place at UFC Apex. The nearby T-Mobile Arena hosts Saturday’s card, which features a main card on ESPN+ pay-per-view following prelims on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN+.

In the main event, reigning featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski (25-2 MMA, 12-1 UFC) takes on interim titleholder Yair Rodriguez (15-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC). Additionally, the co-main event sees flyweight champion Brandon Moreno (21-6-2 MMA, 9-3-2 UFC) face a man that has beaten him twice before, Alexandre Pantoja (25-5 MMA, 9-3 UFC).

All four fighters in the evening’s title fights made weight without issue. The same could not be said for Jalin Turner (13-6 MMA, 6-3 UFC), who came in two pounds over the lightweight non-title limit for his matchup with Dan Hooker (22-12 MMA, 12-8 UFC). Turner was fined 20 percent of his purse, but the bout will go on as scheduled.
