MIAMI – MMA Underground was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC 287 fighter weigh-ins, where all but one fighter made weight without issue.

The weigh-ins took place at the Hilton Downtown Miami. The nearby Kaseya Center hosts Saturday’s event, which features a main card streaming on ESPN+ pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN, ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass.

In the night’s main event, reigning middleweight champion Alex Pereira (7-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) faces former titleholder and the man he beat to take the belt, Israel Adesanya (23-2 MMA, 12-2 UFC). Meanwhile, the night’s co-feature is a key welterweight matchup between Gilbert Burns (21-5 MMA, 14-5 UFC) and Jorge Masvidal (35-16 MMA, 12-9 UFC).

All four hit their scheduled mark on the first trip to the scale.

However, bantamweight Christian Rodriguez (8-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) initially weighed 137.5 pounds for his contest with Raul Rosas Jr. (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC). Rodriguez was given an additional hour to make weight but could only get down to 137 pounds and was fined 20 percent of his purse.
