“UFC 283: Teixeira vs. Hill” took place Saturday at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro. The night’s main card streamed live on ESPN+ pay-per-view following prelims on ABC and ESPN, as well as early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
In the main event, former champ Glover Teixeira (33-9 MMA, 16-7 UFC) and fast-rising challenger Jamahal Hill (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) met with the promotion’s vacant light heavyweight title on the line. Meanwhile, the co-feature saw undisputed flyweight champ Deiveson Figueiredo (21-3-1 MMA, 10-3-1 UFC) and interim titleholder Brandon Moreno (21-6-2 MMA, 9-3-2 UFC) meet for an unprecedented fourth time in the octagon.
