LAS VEGAS – MMA Underground was expected to be on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC 282 fighter weigh-ins, though that did not happen.
The weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The nearby T-Mobile Arena hosts Saturday’s card, which features a main card streaming on ESPN+ pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN2 and ESPN+.
In the night’s main event, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz (29-9 MMA, 12-6 UFC) faces dangerous challenger Magomed Ankalaev (18-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) for the organization’s vacant belt at 205 pounds.
