UFC 225: Whittaker vs. Romero 2 will be held on June 9, 2018, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
In the main event, middleweight champ Robert Whittaker defends vs. former interim title challenger and former world champion in freestyle Yoel Romero in a rematch. The two fought at UFC 213 on July 8, 2017, with Whittaker earning a unanimous decision for the then-vacant interim belt.
In the co-main, former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos fights Colby Covington for the interim welterweight belt.
There will be two weigh-ins – the early, official weigh-ins in the morning at the fighter’s hotel, and the later ceremonial weigh-ins at the venue at 7:00 p.m. ET. The early weigh-ins run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The main and the co-main fighters have to make the division weight exactly. All the other fighters are given the customary 1 extra pound.
