UFC 204 public weigh ins 1:00 p.m. ET

UFC 204: Bisping vs. Henderson 2 will be held on October 8, 2016, at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. The main card is broadcast on pay per view television, while the late prelims are broadcast on FOX Sports 1, with the early prelims streaming on UFC Fight Pass.

The public weigh-in ceremony and faceoff takes place on Friday, October 7, at 1 p.m. ET (6:00 p.m. local time) , and streams live on The UnderGround, courtesy of the UFC.

However, the UFC has instituted a new, safer procedure, wherein fighters are given a two-hour window in which to weigh in, on the morning of the day before the fight. Fighters had previously weighed in in the evening. Unfortunately, the body does not always rehydrate within 24 hours, leaving the brain more susceptible to injury. Many fighters took IVs in an attempt to rehydrate sufficiently.

However, when the UFC selected the US Anti-Doping Agency as their independent drug testing body, the use of IVs was prohibited, as it can mask the use of PEDs. In response, the early weigh-ins were instituted, and everyone is happier.

The official weigh-ins for UFC 204 have taken place, and the results are at bottom. They weigh-ins were smooth with a single exception. Rob Font successfully made 134 pounds, but opponent Ian Entwistle became ill and was forced to withdraw.
