In keeping with the new and improved weigh-ins process, for UFC 203 there was an official although un-televised weigh in around noon ET. Fighters will then have far more than a day to rehydrate, lessening the chance of suffering brain trauma from dehydration.
Heavyweight title challenger Alistair Overeem was late, as he was stuck waiting on an elevator. The Ohio Athletic Commission fined him $500 for his tardiness.
At 7:00 p.m., there will be televised weigh-ins, face-offs, etc for the cameras.

UFC heavyweight championship Stipe Miocic fights former K-1 World Grand Prix winner, Strikeforce heavyweight champion, and DREAMheavyweight champion Alistair Overeem in the main event. In the co-main former champion Fabricio Werdum fights Travis Browne in a rematch with title shot implications. The pair fought at UFC on Fox: Werdum vs. Browne in 2014, with Werdum taking a unanimous decision.

UFC 203 will also the MMA debut of former WWE superstar CM Punk, who will be fighting the very capable Mickey Gall.
Urijah Faber vs. Jimmie Rivera, and Jessica Andrade vs. Joanne Calderwood round out the undercard.
The event was also scheduled to feature UG favorite Ian ‘Uncle Creepy’ McCall, but opponent Ray Borg dropped out at the last minute, due to illness. This is the third opponent in a row McCall has dropped, without even getting into the Octagon.
