Today the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) released the results of drug testing for UFC 178, where at least one pair of fighters were subject to enhanced testing:

Tests for performance-enhancing drugs and drugs of abuse came back negative following UFC 178, the Nevada State Athletic Commission today told MMAjunkie.

At least one pair of fighters were subject to enhanced testing, the commission added. UFC flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson and title challenger Chris Cariaso, who headlined the Sept. 27 event, were tested for banned substances via blood and urine before and immediately following their fight. The tests were clean.

NSAC Executive Director Bob Bennett did not disclose the list of substances tested for by the commission, which has ramped up enhanced testing efforts in the past year. However, previous fighters tested out of competition have been screened for EPO and HGH in addition to other performance-enhancers.
