All fighters who underwent drug testing at UFC 152 and UFC on FUEL TV 5 tested negative for drugs of abuse (such as marijuana and cocaine), as well as anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancers.
Eight fighters were tested at UFC 152, while all fighters were tested at UFC on FUEL TV 5.
One fighter, who wasn’t identified, received a therapeutic-use exemption for testosterone-replacement therapy at UFC 152, and tested within allowable limits.
UFC 152 took place Sept. 22 in Toronto, Canada, and UFC on FUEL TV 5 took place Sept. 29 in Nottingham, England. With no regulatory body handling the drug testing, responsibility fell to Marc Ratner, former Executive Director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, and current Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for the UFC.
