Recently news emerged that the Ultimate Fighting Championship will be heading to the southern hemisphere. Reports indicate that UFC 145 will be held in Australia, at the Allphones Arena, on March 4, 2012.
If things go according to plan, this will be the UFC third visit down under. UFC 110 and UFC 127 both sold out. The average attendance for the events were nearly eighteen thousand. The UFC management expects that the same kind of turnout when UFC 145 takes place in 2012.
According to reports, UFC 145 will feature Danish MMA fighter Martin Kampmann vs. Brazilian MMA fighter Thiago Alves. The other fight on the card will be between American fighters Travis Browne and Roy Nelson.
UFC officials will announce more bouts for UFC 145 in the coming months.
