Saturday’s “UFC 137: Penn vs. Diaz” event drew a reported 10,313 attendees and generated a live gate of $3.9 million.
Should the numbers prove accurate when verified next week by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, UFC 137 would mark the third-largest live gate ever generated by the UFC at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
#1. UFC 100 (Lesnar vs. Mir II): $5,128,490 gate (10,871 attendance)
#2. UFC 79 (St-Pierre vs. Hughes III): $4,994,000 (11,075 attendance)
#3. UFC 137 (Penn vs. Diaz): $3,900,000 (10,313attendance)
