Last weekend’s Ultimate Fighting Championship show attracted a record audience for preliminary bouts, Spike TV said Tuesday.
Saturday’s broadcast of UFC 126 prelims generated an average viewership of 2 million, with a household rating of 1.2, both high marks for UFC prelim shows, Spike said. Among men ages 18-to-49 and 18-to-34, the UFC ratings of 1.7 led the 9 p.m. ET to 11 p.m. ET time slot, according to the network.
