The past weekend’s Spike TV broadcast of “UFC 122: Marquardt vs. Okami” scored an average audience of 2.2 million viewers, the cable station today announced.
UFC 122 earned a 1.4 household rating, which includes a 2.0 rating among men ages 18-49 and a 2.16 among males ages 18-34.
By comparison, the most recent numbered UFC event to air via tape delay on Spike TV, “UFC 120: Bisping vs. Akiyama,” which took place in London and featured a middleweight matchup between Michael Bisping and Yoshihiro Akiyama, averaged 1.9 million viewers. Prior to that, September’s “UFC Fight Night 22: Marquardt vs. Palhares,” also featuring Marquardt in a headlining contest with submission ace Rousimar Palhares, averaged 1.6 million viewers.
