UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin officially drew an attendance of 12,740 – 9,218 of that paid – for gate receipts of $4,053,990, according to the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
The MGM Grand Garden Arena was set up for 14,934, so there were 2,194 tickets that were left unsold.
