ABU DHABI – UAE Warriors is proud to announce a truly international weekend of mixed martial arts. Three events, all back-to-back-to-back, featuring athletes of 45 nationalities, will take place at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island next week and will be live worldwide on UFC Fight Pass.

  • “UAE Warriors 27: Africa,” March 25
  • “UAE Warriors 28: International,” March 26
  • “UAE Warriors 29: Arabia,” March 27

With the UAE Warriors Arabia and newly launched UAE Warriors Africa series of events, the promotion is providing a global stage for athletes from Arabic and African heritage to propel their careers while the tentpole UAE Warriors International events showcase athletes from around the world.

Following from a successful first event last month, UAE Warriors Africa will return on Friday, March 25. Athletes from over a dozen African nations will compete at “UAE Warriors 27: Africa.”

At this event UAE Warriors will crown its first ever champion in this series as Morocco’s Badreddine Diani (4-1), who is currently the UAE Warriors Arabia welterweight champ, takes on Italian-based Tunisian Wisem Hammami (6-0) for the inaugural UAE Warriors Arabia welterweight championship.

This card will also see “The Crazy Cameroonian” Jaures Dea (8-4) face former EFC Worldwide champ Faeez Jacobs (7-4), and Cape Verde’s Helder Fernandes (7-6) meet Zimbabwe’s Sylvester Chipfumbu (7-3), another former EFC Worldwide title holder.

UAE Warriors 28 will take place on Saturday, March 26, with a stellar international card featuring athletes from all over the planet. 

In the main event, UAE Warriors light heavyweight champion Tarek Suleiman (12-7) is aiming for champ-champ status as he faces SBG Ireland’s Will Fleury (9-3) for the inaugural UAE Warriors middleweight championship. This contest is a rematch of their 2018 bout, in which Fleury won via unanimous decision. 

Two of the top female fighters in the world outside the UFC will clash in the co-main event for the vacant UAE Warriors women’s flyweight title. Canada’s Corinne Laframboise (7-4) goes up against the undefeated Venezuelan Carolina Jimenez (7-0) in the truly high-stakes contest. The last person to hold this title was Manon Fiorot prior to her signing with the UFC. 

The UAE’s Mohammad Yahya (10-3) will defend his UAE Warriors Arabia lightweight title against Morocco’s Mohamed El Jaghdal (7-4) in the main event of “UAE Warriors 29: Arabia” on Sunday, March 27.

The co-main event will see “The Royal Fighter” Ali AlQaisi (11-5) attempting to capture his third straight title after winning the Titan FC and UAE Warriors featherweight titles in his previous two fights, respectively. The UFC veteran will meet ONE Championship vet Ahmed Faris (16-4) with the inaugural UAE Warriors Arabia featherweight title up for grabs.
