ABU DHABI – UAE Warriors welcomes a host of top international talent and rising prospects to Abu Dhabi this week for another action-packed double header of events at Etihad Arena on Yas Island and live around the world on UFC Fight Pass.
The biggest rematch in UAE Warriors history will go down in the main event of UAE Warriors 33 on Saturday, September 17, as featherweight champion Jesse Arnett (20-8) faces rival Ali AlQaisi (12-6).
The vacant UAE Warriors welterweight title will be decided in the co-main event as Lebanon’s Josh Togo (11-4) meets Tahir Abdullaev (13-1) in what promises to be a fierce standup exchange.
Elsewhere on the card, former Titan FC champ and Dana White’s Contender Series veteran Juan Puerta (23-6) faces Brazil’s Iago Ribeiro (10-3), the always exciting Abdulla Al Bousheiri (8-3) clashes with “Road to UFC” veteran and “Big Brother” contestant John Adajar (6-2), and top U.S. prospect Tyler Ray (10-2) faces a late replacement in the Erkin Darmenov (10-5).
“UAE Warriors 32: Africa” takes place on Friday, September 16 and will showcase some of the best of African MMA. Overall, there will be over 10 African nations represented on the card.
History will be made in the main event as Comoros’ Kevin Oumar (8-3) and Angola’s Emilio Quissua (3-0) compete become the first ever UAE Warriors Africa light heavyweight champion.
In the co-main event, undefeated Angolan Shido Esperanca (6-0) collides with reigning UAE Warriors Arabia champ Badreddine Diani (4-2) of Morocco. Zimbabwe’s Sylvester Chipfumbu (8-4) and “The Crazy Cameroonian” Jaures Dea (8-5) also clash in what could be a potential “Fight of the Night” encounter.
