ABU DHABI – The Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi recently announced the return of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week for October 2023, with a packed schedule of city-wide events and activations, headlined by UFC 294 on October 21, featuring highly anticipated world title bouts.

Now UAE Warriors 45 has been added to the schedule of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week and will take place on Friday, October 20. The region’s leading MMA promotion will host an international showcase event featuring some of the most exciting fighters from around the world.

In recent years, UAE Warriors has become a hotbed for talent to come and prove themselves on the international stage and, as a result, the promotion has become a major platform for athletes globally looking to advance their careers.

Thanks to the addition of UAE Warriors Arabia in 2021 and UAE Warriors Africa in 2022, where athletes of Arab and African heritage are offered an exclusive stage to compete, the promotion has furthered itself in being instrumental in the growth of fighter’s careers.

Manon Fiorot, Andre Fialho, Dennis Buzukja, Nora Cornolle, Rinat Fakhretdinov and Carlston Harris are among a host of recent UAE Warriors fighters to get calls up to the UFC, and in 2021 the promotion featured on an episode of “Dana White’s Lookin’ for a Fight” show, during which the latter two were signed.

UAE Warriors 45 will be broadcast live globally on UFC Fight Pass, and an exciting venue will be announced in the coming days.
