“UAE Warriors 43: Arabia” took place Friday night from the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, and it was an action-packed night to remember with finish after finish and a career defining main event.

Wisem Hammami (8-1) made history by becoming the first ever UAE Warriors Africa and Arabia champion with an incredible first-round TKO finish over Badreddine Diani (6-3) in the main event.

For the first time ever in UAE Warriors history, two title were put on the line in a champion vs. champion winner-takes-all bout. It had been over a year since Hammami was in action last, and ring rust did not show for the rising star. The 26-year-old, who was coming in as the UAE Warriors Africa champ, did not waste any time and blitzed his opponent with a flurry of punches early in the first round to walk away as double champion.

Elsewhere on the card, the popular Abdullah Boushehri (10-4) submitted Adham Mohamed (6-2) with a skillful armbar in the co-main event to potentially earn his spot as the next challenger, Shehab Noaman (3-1) scored a devastating KO over Mohamed Al Ketheeri (1-2), and Wasem Anwar (4-0) handed Mahmoud Abd El Raouf (4-1) his first loss in the battle of the undefeated prospects.

“UAE Warriors 43: Arabia” is part of a double-header weekend of fights from the promotion, and UAE Warriors 44 will go down tonight, Saturday, August 26, live from the Etihad Arena and available to watch around the world on UFC Fight Pass and on Abu Dhabi Fights in the UAE.
