ABU DHABI – This weekend, UAE Warriors returns with another spectacular showcase of truly global mixed martial arts, with two events over two days taking place at the Etihad Arena and broadcasted worldwide on UFC Fight Pass and on Abu Dhabi Fight in the UAE.

UAE Warriors 44 goes down Saturday night, August 26, and will feature fighters representing over twenty nations around the world. Headlining the card will be an exciting bout between top Brazilian Alex da Silva (22-5) against Kyrgyzstan’s Bagysh Zharmamatov (8-2), which will be supported by Canada’s Xavier Alaoui (14-4) versus China’s Baergeng Jieleyisi (14-5) in the co-main event.

Also on the main card, RIZIN veteran Yamoto Fujita (9-4) faces Furkatbek Yokubov (8-3) of Uzbekistan, UAE Warriors Arabia middleweight champ Eslam Syaha (14-2) takes on Sweden’s Robin Roos (6-3) in a non-title bout, Kazakhstan’s Sanzhar Adilov (11-1) meets Kyrgysztan’s Kylymbek Altymysh (8-1), Dana White’s Contender Series and “Road to UFC” participant Qui Lun (19-9) goes head to head with Team Nurmagomedov’s Rashid Vagabov (9-2), and popular Welsh fighter Aaron Aby (14-7) goes against Filipino flyweight Joevincent So (10-4).

While UAE Warriors 44 will stage fighters from across the globe, “UAE Warriors 43: Arabia” will take place the night prior on Friday, August 25, showcasing the best fighters of Arab heritage.

An historic winner takes all champion vs. champion bout will headline this card as UAE Warriors Arabia welterweight champ Badreddine Diani (6-2) once again faces UAE Warriors Africa welterweight champ Wisem Hammami (7-1). This is a rematch of their 2022 bout in which Hammami walked away with his hand raised. Now the stakes are much higher with both belts being on the line.

A thrilling clash between Kuwaiti fan favorite Abdullah Boushehri (9-4) and Egypt’s Adham Mohamed (6-1) will take place in the co-main of the evening. Boushehri is known for his exciting finishes and owns an incredible eight first-round stoppages.

Elsewhere on the card, the Brad Pickett trained Eman Almudhaf (2-0) will face Haiat Farag Youssef (1-1) in a women’s featherweight contest, Mahmoud Abd El Raouf (4-0) and Wasem Anwar (3-0) put their undefeated records on the line, KO artist Abdi Farah (4-3) collides with Maraoune Bellagouit (2-0), and the UAE’s very own Mohamed Al Katheeri (1-1) goes against Shehab Noaman (2-1) of Egypt.
