ABU DHABI – One of the biggest fight weeks of the year just got bigger. UAE Warriors 34 will officially take place on Thursday, October 20, during UFC 280 fight week in the United Arab Emirates.
Al Jazira Sports Club will play host to this international event that will see fighters from all over the globe once again compete on the UAE Warriors stage.
Armenia’s Martun Mezhlumyan (13-3) looks to continue his winning ways in UAE Warriors as he takes on top Spanish fighter Acoidan Duque (18-3) in the main event.
Mezhlumyan is on a three-fight win streak in the promotion and most recently submitted PFL veteran and former Shooto Brasil champion Carlos Silva at UAE Warriors 28 this past March. He will need to on top form once again when he faces Duque, a former Bellator fighter who has a recent win over UFC veteran Carlo Pedersoli.
Two champions from opposite sides of the world will clash in the co-main event as Jungle Fight champ Felipe Pereira (10-1-1) meets former ACA champion Azamat Kerefov (15-0).
Pereira enters UAE Warriors on a four-fight win streak and as a multiple champion from Brazil. In addition to his Jungle Fight title, he holds the ZONE FC flyweight championship.
Kerefov will also make his promotional debut and is regarded as one of the best fighters out of Russia with an undefeated record of 15-0 and multiple ACA title defenses.
Also announced for UAE Warriors 34, PFL veteran Handesson Ferreira (18-3) meets the explosive Ion “Dracula” Surdu (11-4) and Brazil’s Larissa Carvalho (4-1) clashes with Swedish starlet Elin Oberg (3-2).
