Earlier this week an unfortunate story surfaced that UFC fighter Ryan Jimmo had passed away due to injuries received in a hit and run accident.
Although it will be only a little solace to his friends and family, it was revealed today that two suspects had been arrested for the accident and at least one will face a murder charge:
Two suspects are in custody in connection with the hit-and-run death of former UFC fighter Ryan Jimmo, police announced today.
Anthony Getschel, 23, and Jordan Wagner, 21, are charged with multiple crimes. Getschel is charged with second-degree murder, criminal negligence causing death, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and failure to stop at the scene of an accident involving a death, while Wagner is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Getschel and Wagner reportedly did not know Jimmo prior to the incident, a press release stated.
