In the co-main event of tonight’s UFC Fight Night 42, Ross Pearson seemed to have fought his way to a clear cut decision win over Diego Sanchez. The judges cage side, however, seemed to disagree and awarded Sanchez a split decision win. (27-30, 30-27, 29-28). 

The event took place in Sanchez’s hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico and it definitely seemed like a hometown decision to those watching at home. 

Of course, with any controversy, Twitter went crazy:
