Twitter reacts to Rousey fighting Holm

Early on Friday UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey appeared on Good Morning America and announced to the world that her next fight would be with Holly Holm. It was widely believed that a trilogy fight with Miesha Tate was in the offing, or conceivably a fight with the surging Amanda Nunes.

Twitter reacted, with a mix of cheers, jeers, and a degree of befuddlement.

In thinking through this, Rousey vs. Holm makes sense if you have Cyborg vs. Tate as a co-main as well. Winners fight at UFC 200 in July.
