Twitter reacts to Jones being stripped of title
This is the first time the UFC as an organization has stripped a champion of their title, and as with such huge news, Twitter exploded with response.

Tonight on FOX Sports Live, UFC President Dana White appeared to update everyone on the situation with Jon Jones. Jones was involved in a hit and run accident in his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico and is facing felony charges. UFC President White, Lorenzo Fertitta, and other executives flew to New Mexico today to assess the situation and tonight White appeared to reveal what was decided.
White announced that Jon Jones would be stripped of his UFC light heavyweight and suspended indefinitely. He also announced that Daniel Cormier would step in to fight Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 for the undisputed light heavyweight championship.
