Twitter reacts to Shevchenko vs. Holm
TWITTER REACTS to Valentina Shevchenko vs. Holly Holm

Less than a year ago, Holly Holm was the UFC women’s bantamweight champion. By contrast, Valentina Shevchenko had been in the UFC for only seven months. And she was coming off a loss.
Holm was a big two or even three to one favorite. The thinking was that Shevchenko was a safe bet for Holm, as she did not have a ground game sufficient to expose the hole in The Preacher’s Daughter’s game. But on Saturday night Shevchenko used superior speed and a world-class Muay Thai game to beat Holm, winning every round but one on all three judges score cards.
And as always, Twitter reacted.
Shevchenko: My coach was shot and two days after he was in hospital he said don’t cancel the fight with Holm.

I wouldn't want to fight either. #Holm is intense and #Shevchenko is scary. #UFCChicago

Holly Holm wins R1, 10-9. About the round I expected. Shevchenko very good but not extremely active and very undersized here.

Holly can't make her mind up if she is offensive or defensive. Must commit more.

1-1? The weight advantage helping Holm in the clinch…..will she fade?

Shevchenko confidence high. She's up 29-28 over Holm after three. Ohhh boy.

Hmmm 3-1 valentina? Holm is at least 6" short with everything she throws, has the size and reach by can't seem to figure out her range.

We're 3 minutes away from maybe never having Rousey-Holm 2. Pretty impressive.

Valentina a completely different level, made the former champ look very ordinary. Expected much better hands from a boxing world champion?
