It has been known for some time that the 26th season of The Ultimate Fighter will be the inaugural UFC women’s flyweight champion. Later it was announced that the opposing coaches would be Eddie Alvarez and Justin Gaethje. However, the cast was not known, until it was revealed Saturday night during UFC 114.
There will be 16 female flyweights fighting for the new belt. The cast includes well-known veterans like Roxanne Modafferi, Barb Honchak, and Lauren Murphy, as well as unknowns like 2-1 Emily Whitmire and Ariel Beck who is coming off three losses in a row.
