TUF 18 starts Wed 9/4 at 10 PM on Fox Sports 1

There are some changes in store for The Ultimate Fighter 18. The popular series is moving from Tuesday to Wendnesday, and from FX to the new Fox Sports 1.

Series will start September 4, and will air at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Fox had previously announced that the Speed Channel and Fuel TV were being rebranded as Fox Sports 1 and 2.

The new Fox Sports 1 channel launches on August 17, with a live UFC event from Boston.

TUF 18, which will for the first time feature men and a women, will be coached by women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano, who earned her spot by defeating Miesha Tate Saturday night. The pair will fight at the conclusion of the series.

UFC president Dana White made the announcement during Saturday’s TUF 17 Finale.
