Todd Duffee on, off, on, off, on for DREAM NYE main event

Yesterday Todd Duffe announced the fight on facebook:
Todd Duffee Have no plans on NYE?! Dream Dynamite 2010 : Duffee VS Overeem on HDnet!!!
Then Duffee removed the post from his facebook wall, and a report came out that the fight was off:
Todd Duffee and DREAM officials had a verbal agreement in place for him to face Strikeforce heavyweight champ Alistair Overeem at Dream Dynamite 2010 on New Years Eve. But when he received the contract this morning the money wasn’t right and Duffee decided to pass on the fight.
Overeem will still compete on the card and face an opponent that has yet to be announced.
Now MMAjunkie is reporting that the fight is on.
In his first fight since a surprising UFC release earlier this year, Todd Duffee will meet fellow heavyweight Alistair Overeem at next week’s DREAM “Dynamite!! 2010” event. A DREAM source today told MMAjunkie.com verbal agreements are in place for the fight, though Duffee reps couldn’t be reached for confirmation.
DREAM “Dynamite!! 2010” takes place at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The event airs in the U.S. on HDNet.
Duffee hasn’t fought since May, when he was upset at UFC 114 by Chicago fighter Mike Russow.
Dana White dropped Duffee from the roster, citing in part his attitude.
“The biggest problem I have with Todd Duffee is his attitude. You guys don’t see it … We have hundreds of guys under contract and I’ve had thousands of guys under contract over the last ten years and Todd Duffee, to me, doesn’t seem like he wants to be in the UFC. He doesn’t like being in the UFC. Let him go fight in the smaller organizations and work his way back up, if he even wants to work his way back up and get back into the UFC. He just came off a knockout. He got knocked out in his fight and he’s got a horrible attitude … He can still go back and train and fight in these smaller leagues and work on his skills and his attitude.”

And now liverkick.com is reporting the fight is off:
I feel like we’ve been crushing dreams lately when it comes to Alistair Overeem. LiverKick.com has barely been up a week and we’ve been able to assure you that Bobby Lashley would not fight Alistair Overeem, Satoshi Ishii and were pretty skeptical of Todd Duffee happening. Overeem’s people seemed less-than-confident of the fight happening after all of the nonsense, and apparently as of today, the fight is officially off. We haven’t been able to officially confirm what happened this morning, but all signs are indeed pointing to Todd Duffee turning down the contract at the last minute.
But wait, uber agent Monte Cox is saying Duffee wants to fight:
“This is one of those opportunities that come around once in a lifetime. Todd isn’t 100% and there isn’t enough time to get 100% ready, but he felt like it was a dream come true to fight against one of the best, if not the best, heavyweights in the world.
“I’ll be honest, I argued against taking the fight. I’d rather he have time to prepare and be at full strength… but he was adamant that this was a special opportunity and he wasn’t going to pass on it and regret it later on. He said ‘I’m a fighter… this is what I do.’ How am I supposed to argue with that logic?”
