Last night after UFC 172, the UFC posted a graphic showing the most wins by a UFC light heavyweight in history, which as Ortiz tweeted, he was missing from.

Tito Ortiz carried the UFC and the light heavyweight division on his shoulder for years as the sport emerged to main stream. Ortiz won the UFC light heavyweight title in 2000 and defended it six times before losing it Randy Couture in 2003.

Ortiz would stay relevant in the light heavyweight division, earning another title shot in 2006, but was eventually released from the UFC after losing six of his last seven bouts.

Last night after the UFC 172 main event, the UFC posted a graphic showing the most wins by a UFC light heavyweight in history, which as Ortiz tweeted, he was missing from:

Ortiz did have fifteen wins in his UFC career, however him not being including in that list is likely due to the fact that light heavyweight division wasn’t introduced until after UFC 31, and his fights were considered ‘middleweight.’

Regardless, Ortiz’s accomplishments at 205 were notable and despite his current relationship with the UFC, they should be noted.
