Tito: I turned down 4th fight with Shamrock
Tito Ortiz: Scott Coker wanted me to do Ken again. I was like, no, not really. Royce Gracie beats Shamrock, so maybe Royce?”

Bellator light heavyweight Tito Ortiz spoke in London recently with MMAjunkie, and said he turned down a fourth fight with Ken Shamrock. The pair fought in the UFC in 2002, and twice in 2006, with Tito winning the last two via first round KO. Shamrock has gone 2-5 since. Ortiz has gone 2-8-1 since, but at a far, far higher level of competition.
[Bellator President] Scott Coker wanted me to do Ken again,” said Tito. “I was like, no, not really. Royce Gracie beats Shamrock, so maybe Royce? And I’ll be nice to Royce, too. I won’t be too mean to him.
There are other matchups as well of interest to Tito.
Wanderlei Silva, he said. ‘Rampage’ Jackson said something about me – I thought we were boys, and he didn’t want to fight. But hey, if we need to make money, cool, let it be.”
So it’s a yes to Royce, ‘Page, or Wand, but a nope to Shamrock.
