Titan FC Lex McMahon battling on a tightrope

Jonathan Shrager spoke with Titan FC COO Lex McMahon about how he negotiates at the national level in MMA, and how it now streams exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.

Being an MMA promoter is not easy. The barriers to entry are low, and every guy (and no small number of women) wants to in the fight business. It is far, far, far harder when you move up to the national level, as your competition is not the Cage Extreme Fight Battle FC, it is the UFC.

The UG’s Jonathan Shrager spoke with Titan FC COO Lex McMahon about how he negotiates at the national level in MMA, and how Titan FC now streams exclusively on the subscription-based digital streaming service UFC Fight Pass. To make the fight require even more nimble movement, McMahon is also one of the top managers in the game.

The first event to be held on UFC Fight Pass, Titan FC 34: Healy vs. Edwards, will air July 18, 2015 and has no less than four title fights, ‘Pele’ Landi and lots more. Additionally, the entire Titan FC library of past events would be added to the “On Demand” section of Fight Pass.
