Tiki Ghosn breaks silence on Rashad and TUF editing

Well I’ll tell you what, we’ve had a bit of a dialogue me and Rashad the whole time but they edited a lot of it out. Rashad is a cocky bastard, he likes to talk tough but all he does is talk. I was surprised he was as cocky as he was after he’d been knocked out by Machida about three weeks prior to being on the show.
I was 100% serious. I’d had it, I was pissed. I was like, ‘Fuck this guy’. He’s playing up to the cameras, I hadn’t said anything to him about fighting him. He was just mad cause anytime he would take a stab at me my retort would blow him out of the water, he wouldn’t know what to say. So it got to the point where he couldn’t beat me with words so he was like, ‘I’ll beat your ass’ so I thought that was really funny.
I agree with Rampage’s comments 100%. We have very little time with these fighters and if we make a bad call on picking the fighters we can’t do anything in that short space of time about training them and making them win a fight. You can only lead a horse to water, you can’t make it drink. There’s only so much you can do. But like the stuff where they said we were late for Demico, we were about 10 minutes late and they made it look like we were hours late.
The other thing is when we didn’t go inside the cage. Number one, Rampage is the head coach, I’m going off his calls. The first time, we didn’t go in the cage for Demico. As a fighter and Rampage being a fighter, if I lose I don’t want someone going inside the cage, I don’t want someone talking to me, leave me alone. I don’t care if it was the biggest fight ever, if I got knocked out, choked out, I don’t want somebody coming in there, especially when the doctors are handling me, it doesn’t matter. The second time when Wes Sims got choked out, what they don’t show is that our side of the cage, there’s a commission guy there to open it. They didn’t open our side of the cage, they only opened the other side of the cage so we couldn’t get in there anyway. They don’t show that. So we had to wait.
Rashad and his team are on the side where the judges sit and the commission sits and that’s where they enter the cage and then the other side gets opened later, but none of this is explained. At the same time, Wes Sims is a veteran of fighting, been in there many times and I’m sure he’s going to be fine with the doctors checking on him. He doesn’t need to be waking up to see us hovering over him. I’m sure the last thing he wanted to see when he opened his eyes was Rashad’s ugly face and his assistant coach. But they’re just playing up to the cameras like, ‘We’re great coaches, we’re great this and that’. At the end of the day you have to remember this show is not called The Ultimate Coach, it’s called The Ultimate Fighter.
