Three fights canceled following McGregor attack
Conor McGregor was once the most famous man in mixed martial arts. Now he is the biggest @$$hole.

Conor McGregor was once the most famous man in mixed martial arts. Now he is in it’s @$$hole Hall of Fame.
Notorious and his group attacked a UFC 223 Red Corner fighter bus that included Ray Borg, Michael Chiesa, Al Iaquinta, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Rose Namajunas, and Khabib Nurmagomedov, in an effort to reach ‘The Eagle’. McGregor ran up past the slowly moving bus, grabbed a hand truck, and then threw it into a window.
The good news is the group didn’t reach ‘The Eagle’; they would have been shot or something. The bad news is they managed to injure two fighters on the bus, both of whom have been pulled from the card.
Further, Artem Lobov, who was reportedly one of the attackers, was removed from his fight with Alex Caceres.
In addition, lightweight Michael Chiesa was cut by glass, went to the hospital, had his weight cut disrupted, and was removed from his fight vs. former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis. Chiesa described his state as “devastated.”

Chiesa was not the sole injured party. Ray Borg was also on the bus, and got pieces of glass in his eyes. He, too, is out of his fight.
The casualties so far from McGregor and Artem’s unfathomable attack include:
•Alex Caceres: Lobov’s opponent;
•Michael Chiesa: Cut by flying glass, prohibited from fighting;
•Anthony Pettis: Chiesa’s contracted opponent;
•Ray Borg: Flying glass in eye, prohibited from fighting;
•Brandon Moreno: Borg’s contracted opponent;
•John Kavanagh’s extraordinary Straight Blast Gym which will be unfairly tarred by association;
•The UFC;
•Mixed martial arts;
•Us.
And there’s more. UFC VP of Athlete Development Reed Harris said one of his fellow league employees suffered a broken hand in the attack.
UFC president Dana White said it was the most disgusting thing in league history. That’s about right.
