In this inaugural episode of what is to become a regular feature on Underground’s YouTube channel, @JonathanShrager catches up with fellow combat sport enthusiasts David Cameron (@djc991) and Robert Clayton (@robclaysphotos) to discuss topical matters pertaining to the world of Mixed Martial Arts, and reviewing/previewing the latest cards. Topics broached include;

-The implications of Conor McGregor’s increasing clout vis-a-vis his promoter, his prospective forthcoming bout versus Rafael dos Anjos.

-Dominic Cruz vs TJ Dillashaw, the Originator vs the Adaptor of MMA’s latest “movement” phenomenon, and this dynamic will pan out.

-The nuances of Anthony Pettis vs Eddie Alvarez, whether Anthony’s emphatic loss to RDA derailed the hype or purely attributed to a bad day at the Octagonal office, Alvarez’s displays since signing with the UFC and whether they highlight the discrepancy in calibre between UFC and nearest competitor Bellator.

-Recurrent topic of MMA judging, resurfacing following Lawler vs Condit; identifying issues and possible resolutions

-Some panelist predictions and anticipations for the MMA landscape in 2016.

*This was very much a test run. The name of show really hasn’t been determined yet, we are just playing around with a new concept. Constructive criticism greatly appreciated!
