The Rousey Effect felt at Beyonce concert

There was a time not too long ago when mixed martial arts was, well, UnderGround. Now the sport is popular worldwide, and stars are starting to break out, none more so than UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
During an episode of UFC 190 Embedded, Rousey responded to asses in seats who find her physique too masculine.
I have this one term for the kind of woman that my mother raised me to not be, and I call it a ‘do-nothing b-tch, said Rousey. She’s the type of chick who just tries to be pretty and be taken care of by somebody else.
That’s why I think it’s hilarious if people say that my body looks masculine or something like that. I’m just like, ‘Listen. Just because my body was developed for a purpose other than f—ing millionaires doesn’t mean it’s masculine. I think it’s femininely badass as f— because there’s not a single muscle on my body that isn’t for a purpose. Because, I’m not a do-nothing b—-.’
The phrase landed.
Rousey put it on a charity tee for the Didi Hirsch 501c3, for their work in mental health services & for women with body image Issues.
She hoped to sell 1,000 of the unisex tees.

Instead, she grossed over a million and half dollars worth.
Now Rousey’s words were played as Beyonce performed “Diva” during Budweiser’s Made In America festival this weekend.
