The Maine-iac wants onto UFC card in Maine
“Please guys contact the UFC guys through social media. Dana white, joe silva, Sean Shelby, and Lorenzo fertetta, and bug them till your blue in the face.”

Tim Sylvia won the UFC heavyweight championship by beating Andrei Arlovski, in 2006. He beat him again in a rematch. Then he beat grappling ace Jeff Monson, nearly triangling him in the process. He lost the title to Randy Couture in 2007, and left the UFC in 2008.
His next fight he lost to Fedor Emelianenko. And then came the ignominious loss to Ray Mercer in 2009.
Sylvia won four in a row before getting caught very early by Abraham Wagner in Titan FC 16 in 2011. He won three more in a row before getting dropped by Arlovski at ONE FC 5 in 2012 in a fight that was ruled an NC over their muddled soccer kick rule set.
Sylvia lost the next one via decision on New Years eve in Japan, to 2008 Olympic gold medalist in Judo Satoshi Ishii. He fought just once in 2013, losing a decision to the undefeated Ruslan Magomedov in Russia.
Magomedov just signed with the UFC, and Arlovski is back too. Now Sylvia wants to join them, fighting on the first UFC card in Sylvia’s home state of Maine – UFC Fight Night 47 on Aug. 16.
