The case for a Stipe Miocic rematch vs. Cormier, by Joe Rogan
Stipe Miocic has argued that he deserves a rematch vs. Daniel Cormier, and during a recent episode of the JRE MMA Show, UFC commentator Joe Rogan detailed the case.

Daniel Cormier became champ champ at UFC 226, and entered the conversation about greatest of all time, with a KO win over Stipe Miocic. The moment of extraordinary athletic achievement almost immediately descended into rank buffoonery, as Brock Lesnar entered the Octagon in full heel mode.
Lesnar was coming off back to back losses in 2010-2011. He had one fight since, which was declared a No Contest after he failed an anti-doping test. It’s a wildly disqualifying background for a title fight, but it will sell a great deal of pay per views.
It’s a good thing there isn’t a massive audience for DC vs. CM Punk.
Cormier has said Lesnar will be his final fight, but that won’t be until early in 2019 due to the doping suspension. In the meantime, he plans to defend the light heavyweight belt vs. TBA.
Miocic has argued that he deserves a rematch, and during a recent episode of the JRE MMA Show, UFC commentator Joe Rogan detailed the case.
He should, said Rogan, as transcribed by Jed Meshew for MMA Fighting. People are thinking, the guy wins more UFC title defenses than anybody on the history of the sport and becomes the most accomplished heavyweight of all time. Think about what he’s done. Think about the fact that he knocks out Fabricio Werdum to win the title, he knocks out Alistair Overeem to defend the title, he knocks out Junior dos Santos, beats Francis when everybody is terrified of Francis. He became the most accomplished heavyweight of all time. Then he gets knocked out by a crazy, perfect punch by Daniel Cormier in a perfect strategy.
Rogan closed with a critical point.
The fight is Brock but the question is, can Brock pass tests?
