Glover Teixeria fights Rashad Evans in the main event of UFC on FOX 19 and believes that he will win because he is the better fight all-around. Teixeira is a former title contender and Evans a former champion, but the Brazilian believes when it’s over, it will be his hand raised in the Octagon:
“It’s going to be a good fight because we’re both exciting fighters, you know?” he said during taping of the latest Road to the Octagon mini-documentary special (above).
“I come down to put on a show. I come down looking to knock you out. He’s got knockout power, he’s a good striker, he’s a good wrestler. You’re not the champion for no reason.
“There’s no way this fight is going to last three rounds. You should be watching this fight — it’s the most exciting fight on the card, no doubt about it.”
Still, the Brazilian has confidence that he’ll be the victor after an exciting battle Saturday in Tampa.”I just think I’m better, all-around,” he reasoned.
