Tate to replace injured Zingano as TUF coach opposite Rousey

Last month Cat Zingano defeated Miesha Tate by referee stoppage in the third round. The victory not only earned her a shot at Ronda Rousey’s bantamweight title, but also the role as coach on the next season of the Ultimate Fighter opposite Rousey.

According to a tweet from UFC Tonight and unfortunately it looks as though a knee injury has forced Zingano to step down from both of those opportunities:

UFC President Dana White came on the Underground tonight as well to report that Zingano already had her knee surgery and was recovering:

Cat just got out she went to the best knee surgeon in the country. He said it went great.
