LEMOORE, California – Urjiah Faber‘s A1 Combat is proud to team up with the Tachi Palace Casino Resort to bring top professional mixed martial arts action to the newly built Yokut Hall in 2023.

Few mixed martial artists are more familiar with Tachi Palace than UFC Hall of Famer Faber. It was on these very grounds in 2006 that Faber headlined “WEC 19: Undisputed,” where he went on to capture the WEC featherweight championship.

Now over a decade later, “The California Kid” returns to Tachi Palace, this time bringing with him the newly formed mixed martial arts promotion, Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat.

“It’s really cool to be back at Tachi Palace” Faber explained. “This is the place I won my first WEC title against Cole ‘The Apache Kid’ Escovedo. A place that helped usher in the careers of legends like Chad Mendes and Joseph Benavidez amongst others. A place where I built lifelong friendships with the tribe and its own champions like Poppies “The Tachi Kid” Martinez.

The action is set to take place on Friday, February 3, 2023, with the preliminary bouts beginning at 6 p.m. PT, and the main card beginning at 7 p.m. PT. Detailed fight and ticket information for this event will be made available on A1combat.com. The event will also be available live on UFC Fight Pass.
