Bellator featherweight champion Daniel Straus pulled off a gritty, gritty, gritty unanimous decision over Patricio Freire in the main event of Bellator 145 on Friday. The hardcore fanbase caught that something was wrong with Straus’s left hand, as he repeatedly shook it, and struck at odd angles.
However, few expected the 31-year-old’s x-ray to look so gruesome.
“I’m being told this is one of the worst breaks some doctors have ever seen,” he wrote on Instagram. “Now…. Imagine if I didn’t break it in the first round.”
