The main event of this weekend’s UFC Fight Night in Bangor, Maine features a light heavyweight bout between Ovince St-Preux and Ryan Bader. Bader is a favorite and more well-known going into the fight, but St-Preux believes that he is being overrated and believes he can knock Bader out:
“I feel no added pressure at all,” OSP told UFC Tonight. “To be honest, I feel Ryan (Bader) has more pressure on him than me just because I’m a newcomer and he’s been around for a minute. I feel like he has more pressure than I do.”
OSP, who had already proclaimed that Bader would not have won the Ultimate Fighter show had he not been rejected, added his comments by calling his dance partner on Saturday “overrated.”
“Ya I think he’s overrated. He is just one of them guys. I was at home watching television and I was like ‘man, you’ve got to be kidding me.’ With that type of stand-up I’d put him to sleep.”
